January 2008 - Pastor Jesus Taveras joins the pastoral staff of Hesler A/G. Pastor Jesus ministers to
the Hispanic community.
March 2008 - Our Easter Weekend services consisted of Egg Hunt for the children, Sunrise Service,
Pancake Breakfast and the drama production, "The Special Invitation" was a great success
with over 170 in attendance on Sunday morning. There were 6 salvations during the Sunday
morning service.
May 2008 - Hesler A/G hosted the National Day of Prayer Service. There was a time of worship and
prayer and a word by Pastor Dave Dauwe of Lighthouse Church. The presence of God was
sensed in a great way.
June 2008 - Our church experience a mighty move of God during our Revival Services with Evangelist
Terry Carter. There were 3 who accepted Jesus as their Savior, 3 filled with the Holy Spirit, many
rededicated their lives and refilled with the Holy Spirit. Praise the Lord!
July 2008 - Pastor Joel went to Mexico with others in the church were they held VBS, minister nightly,
and ministered at an orphanage and migrant camp. They saw over 53 Salvations, 3 miraculous
healings and a mighty move of God's Spirit.
August 2008 - Missions Convention 2008 with Missionaries Steve & Rhonda Wilson from Chile,
Dr. Renee Girdler from Healthcare Ministries, and Jerry & Karen Jacob from Fiji was a great
success.
September 2008 - Our Annual Church Fish Fry was a great success. Our men did a great job with
cooking the fish.
Homecoming Day was a great day with Aaron and Amanda Crabb. Over 170 in attendance.
October 2008 - 1st Annual Trunk~n~Treat Harvest Celebration was a HUGE success with nearly 300

December 2008 - Our Christmas Spectacular program was a great success and the church Christmas
dinner was great as usual. - Merry Christmas!
